Karachi: In the second match of the day and Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) fourteenth match played at National Stadium Karachi, Quetta Gladiators knocked out Multan Sultans by 22 runs.

The Gladiators have broken the tournament's streak of teams winning the match by chasing runs — and finally getting a win for themselves.
Earlier, with brilliant bowling performance, Multan Sultans contained Gladiators at 177 runs.
Whereas displaying poor batting performance, Multan Sultans were all out for 154 in the last over of the match, with Dale Steyn taking the final wicket. The Gladiators' bowlers put up an impressive show today, with Qais Ahmad leading the way.
Ahmad got three wickets and conceded only 21 runs, while Mohammad Hasnain and Zahid Mahmood picked up two wickets each for 34 and 39, respectively.

Multan Sultans and Quetta Gladiators have never played a match before in PSL Six and this was the first match between the two teams.
Multan Sultans are fifth in the points table and have scored two points. The Sultans have played four matches, losing three and winning one.
The Gladiators are sixth in the points table and have scored 2 points. Quetta Gladiators have also played four matches and have won a single match.
Both teams have so far played 6 matches against each other in the PSL with Quetta Gladiators won 4 and Multan Sultans won 2 matches.
In the first match on Wednesday, defending champions Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi by six wickets.
Both teams have played five, five matches. Peshawar Zalmi lost two matches and won three, while PSL defending champions Karachi Kings lost two matches and won three.
