Quetta: Candidates on all 11 Senate seats from Balochistan have been elected unopposed.

According to the details, Maulana Abdul Wasi of Jamat-e-Ulema Islami (JUI) and while Bilal Mandukhel of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) have been elected senator unopposed on the two seats of Technocrats in Balochistan.

Moreover, seven candidates for general seats and two for women seats from Balochistan have already been elected unopposed.

Law commission issues numbers of women affiliated with justice 

The lawyer’s total number across the country is 2,30,897 in which 40,000 women are included.

Islamabad: Law and justice commission has issued numbers of women who are affiliated with justice.

According to the details, there are 3142 judges across the country whereas the number of women judges are collectively 18 percent.

In Supreme court and high courts, there are only seven women judges while the total number of judges in higher judiciary is 126.

In district judiciary the male judges are 2451 and the women judges are 565. The lawyer’s total number across the country is 2,30,897 in which 40,000 women are included.
