Dr Zakir Naik stresses Islamic world to adapt with AI

He says AI is a modern technology provides answers to any questions

Renowned Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik on Friday stressed the Islamic world to conduct research with artificial intelligence (AI).

Expressing his thoughts, Naik said: “It is unfortunate that modern technology and media are under the control of Jews. I feel that the Muslims are blessed with the black gold in the form of petrol. With the usage of petrol in a right way, we [Muslims] can control the media.”

“Unfortunately, we spend our money not in a fair way,” he stated.

Stressing the need for modern technology, saying, “The AI is a modern technology that provides you with answers to any questions. AI has made things easier for daily life use.”

“Once, working in the field of graphics was tough, but the AI has made it easy to generate graphics. Copying anything is also become much easier with the usage of the AI,” Dr. Naik added.

“If we will conduct research on AI and use it in the right way, I believe no tool is better than AI in history to spread the true message of Islam,” Dr Naik stated.

Dr. Naik also acknowledged the spirit of the Pakistani nation. “Wherever I meet Pakistanis, whether in Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, or Dubai, they [the Pakistani people] have a great spirit for Islam.

He urged the Islamic world to use the AI tool for spreading the true spirit of Islam.

PM to host All Parties Conference on Palestine issue on Oct 7

The nationwide Day of Solidarity would also be observed

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said an All Parties Conference (APC) would be held on October 7 to take a unified stance on Palestine issue.

The nationwide Day of Solidarity would also be observed on the day in order to show solidarity with the innocent Palestinian men, women and children facing the worst Israeli brutalities.

The prime minister took the decision to the effect during his meeting with Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the Jamaat-e-Islami delegation led by its Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman at the Prime Minister House.

It was also decided in the meeting that on October 7, public gatherings and seminars would be held across the country to show solidarity with the Palestinian people and to protest against the ongoing Israeli aggression.

A committee comprising Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Sherry Rehman, Khawaja Saad Rafique, and Nayyar Bukhari was formed for organizing the All Parties Conference, and supervise events marking the Day of Solidarity.

President Asif Ali Zardari will also attend the All Parties Conference.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari extended his full support for observing the Day of Solidarity, condemning the ongoing oppression of innocent Muslims in Palestine and Gaza.

The participants of the meeting resolved to raise their voice against the Israeli aggression and worst brutalities against the innocent people in Gaza and Palestine, and show solidarity with them.

They praised the Jamaat-e-Islami for taking an initiative to express solidarity with the innocent Palestinians and highlight Israeli aggression in Gaza and Palestine.

The JI Ameer also lauded the prime minister’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly for raising the issue of ongoing Israeli atrocities against Palestinians, and commended the walkout by the Pakistani delegation, led by the prime minister, at the start of the Israeli prime minister’s speech.

PIA air hostess held for smuggling expensive mobile phones

Accused concealed the phones in various parts of her body

Lahore: A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) air hostess and two passengers were detained at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore for smuggling at least 65 expensive mobile phones.

The incident unfolded in two separate operations on flights arriving from Dubai.

In the first operation, Customs officials intercepted Nadia Batool, a PIA air hostess, as she attempted to smuggle 30 mobile phones. According to Customs sources, Batool had concealed the phones in various parts of her body. The estimated value of the recovered mobile phones is over Rs10 million.

In a separate operation, a couple, Arshad and Fariha, who had arrived on another flight from Dubai, were found with 37 mobile phones attached to their bodies. Customs officials seized the phones, and the couple was immediately taken into custody.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the smuggling attempt, and all three individuals have been arrested pending further legal action.
