Islamabad: Bushra Bibi's ex-husband and complainant Khawar Manika in the Illegal Marriage Case in the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad expressed his distrust on Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjumand, who heard appeals against the sentence.

Sessions Judge Shah Rukh Arjumand is hearing the appeals of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi against the sentence.

Khawar Manika told Judge Shah Rukh in the court room, ‘My family was destroyed, you will get to know if this happens to your family, I don't think I will get justice, you should transfer this case’.

The judge asked him how he thought this, if there is any evidence or does he show sympathy for PTI. ‘I am in court, tell me what is the charge against me? For the first time in my 21-year career I have been objected,’ stated Arjumand.

PTI Lawyer Salman Akram Raja said that this is shameful, this is an attempt to put pressure on judge, you should take note of his words, his lies are increasing.

Judge Shahrukh Arjamand told Khawar Manika: “I also have to go to the grave, you too, the chair is not important for me, why did you come so late”?

Lawyer Salman Akram Raja said regarding Khawar that this person is a liar, an extreme liar.

Khawar Manika stated there are speculations in his house that nothing can happen, he does not think that he will get justice. The case should be transferred.

Zulfi Bukhari has been sending messages in my house, my family is divided, added Manika.

Judge Arjamand said that when a party comes out after the case, it says that the judge took the money. There is an appeal stage, I cannot transfer the case to someone else, how many judges will you change.  That's what everyone says after losing the case.

During the hearing Khawar Manika and PTI lawyer Salman Akram Raja exchanged bitter sentences.

Bushra’s ex-husband continued that PTI founder supported Salman Akram during the trial and started spewing dirt. Salman showed enthusiasm in this case for a ticket. You did not appear in the good book of Khan, but God will annihilate you.

Judge said that he has heard the case to such an extent that it cannot be transferred to another court. According to Section-528, the High Court can do something in this matter. In our judicial system, the party wins and says that justice was served late. If the party loses, it says that the judge took a bribe and decided.

Khawar told the judge that the court is leaning towards former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
