'We are mentally ready to quit government', Tareen group tells Hamza Shehbaz

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Hamza Shehbaz visited the residence of disgruntled PTI leader Jahangir Tareen on Monday and met with the members of Tareen group.

Sources told GNN that Tareen group discussed political situation and future scenario, indicating their joining hands with PML-N.

"We are mentally ready to secede from the government and need to be assured of the next tickets," sources quoted the group members as having said to Hamza.

"We will inform Jahangir Tareen about the details of the meeting and what he [Jahangir Tareen] decides would be accepted," the group told Hamza.

They further said the group was standing with with you [PML-N] and expected long term cooperation.

The group members were of the view that it's difficult for government members to go to constituencies due to public issues.

PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz said he would take up their thoughts with the leadership, adding better decisions would be taken with the suppport of all with regard to Punjab.
