Pakistan win toss, opts to bowl first

Lahore: Pakistan won the toss and has opted to bowl first in the first one-day international, on Tuesday, being played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Ironically, there will be more people at the stadium than there were last week and a louder and more partisan ambience at the stadium is most likely.
Aussies have been plagued by injury and player availability concerns. While an elbow injury has ruled out Steve Smith from the series, Mitchell Marsh is also set to miss the ODI series with a hip flexor injury.
Pakistan, on the other hand, Pakistanis will not see Shadab Khan in action as he will miss the first two ODIs with injury concerns.

Moreover, Australian Spinner Ashton Agar has contracted novel coronavirus Tuesday, a day after Josh Inglis tested positive for COVID-19. Aussie team’s physiotherapist Brendan Wilson has also tested positive for virus.
