Islamabad: Federal Information and Broadcasting Minister Fawad Chaudhry Friday said that the security of Prime Minister Imran Khan has been increased after security agencies reported ‘threats of assassination’ against him amid ongoing political instability in the country.
On his official twitter handle, the Federal Minister stated: “Plot being hatched to assassinate Prime Minister Imran Khan”.
He further said, the government decided to beef up security of the Premier following death threats.

The development came after Imran Khan shared some details of what he claimed a ‘letter proof’ to substantiate his allegation of a foreign hand trying to topple his government with senior journalists of the country.
Yesterday, PTI leader Faisal Vawda in an interview to a local news channel claimed that Imran Khan had been advised to use a bulletproof glass while addressing public gatherings.
