Governor Punjab submits application to nullify CM election

The governor claimed that record of voting has also been tampered.

Lahore: Governor Punjab Umar Sarfraz Cheema has asked President to nullify the CM election.

According to a press release, Governor Punjab has written in an application that CM Punjab has not been elected under law and constitution.

Governor Punjab has pointed violations of the constitution during the election in the report that he has sent to the President. “Voting record is tempered and CM Punjab has not been elected according to law and constitution. MPAs were stopped from voting and Police entered the cabinet against rules. The second schedule of voting was ignored for the election of CM Punjab,” he added.

Governor Punjab said that the resignation of Usman Buzdar is also controversial. “Governor Office did not receive resignation how was it possible to approve it,” he concluded.
