Govt to organize donors’ conference after completion of flood damage survey

The Minister said development partners will complete the flood damage estimate survey by Monday.
He said the international community generously supported relief and rescue operations and now the government is seeking further support in reconstruction and rehabilitation of the flood affected people.
Ahsan Iqbal said a comprehensive plan will be formulated to make Pakistan environment resilient to avert any future risks of climate change.
He appealed the nation, including overseas Pakistanis, to generously donate blankets and quilts for the flood affected homeless people before the onset of winter season.
