Magnitude 5.3 earthquake in Islamabad, adjoining areas
Tremours have been felt in Mansehra, Swabi, Malakand, and Peshawar
Islamabad: Earthquake tremors of magnitude 5.3 have been felt in Islamabad, Abbottabad, and adjoining areas on Wednesday.
According to the details, the tremours have been felt in Mansehra, Swabi, Malakand, Swat, Shangla, Buner, Chitral and Peshawar.
The depth of the earthquake is 220km. The epicenter of the earthquake was the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
People got out of their houses reciting Holy verses. However, no loss of life or property have been reported as yet.
