The PML-N's minister sends his resignation to the president of Pakistan
Islamabad: Federal Law and Justice Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar resigned from his post on Monday, GNN reported.
Tarar, who belongs to PML-N, sent his resignation to the president of Pakistan citing some personal reasons.
In his resignation, the minister said he was serving as the Minister of Law under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, but now he cannot perform his services as a minister owing to personal reasons, so he has resigned from his ministry.
Before resigning, Tarar in a tweet said he was saddened by a small group of participants who shouted slogans against state institutions during Asma Jahangir Conference.
The PML-N leader reportedly came under severe criticism after slogans were raised against the state and the government.
