PM to hold NSC meeting again today 

Prime minister will chair the meeting in the presences of top civil and military officials.

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Monday summoned the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting again today, GNN reported.

According to details, Prime minister will chair the meeting at Prime Minister House in Islamabad in the presences of top civil and military officials.

Reportedly, the establishment officials will brief about security situation in the country.

It is also expected that the meeting will make important decision regarding the recommendations presented in the previous meeting on Friday.

Earlier on December 30, NSC had a meeting under the leadership of Shehbaz Sharif.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and military chiefs graced the meeting at Prime Minister House in Islamabad.

Shehbaz Sharif had summoned the meeting to discuss the current security situation in the country.

Reportedly, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum briefed the attendees on the recent terrorism incidents in Pakistan and security situation at Pak-Afghan border.
