Islamabad: The intelligence agencies have timely busted a network of suicide bombers and their facilitators 10 days after three people were killed in a suicide attack in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber district, GNN reported Saturday.
The operation was launched on the basis of information found during an investigation into the January 19 suicide attack on the Takhta Baig checkpost in Jamrud, in which three policemen were martyred. Following this, the terrorist had blown himself.

During the intelligence-based operation (IBO) security forces recovered Afghan SIMs, drugs and currencies, averting likely disasters in several parts of the region.
Security forces, during the investigation, conducted a forensic examination of bullet casings. They also analyzed a CCTV footage and completed geo-fencing of the area.
The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed the responsibility for the attack.
It surfaced that a TTP member identified as Umar was involved in the terrorist attack, who was facilitated by a resident of Jamrud, Satana Jan—who provided weapons and a suicide jacket.
Reports citing sources said that Satana Jan was managing the outlawed TTP North Waziristan, and was using four houses to remain underground. The same houses were used for launching and planning several other terrorist attacks.
On January 23, the officials captured Farmanullah and Abdul Qayyum, who is related to the suicide bomber. Another operation was conducted on the information of the presence of three suspects on January 27.
Facilitators Fazl Amin, Fazl Ahmed, Mohammad Amir and Hamadullah, as well as two Afghan nationals, were captured during these operations.
Fazal Ahmed, one of the apprehended facilitators, then revealed that the Afghan suicide bomber was sent from Afghanistan by his handlers.
