Babar Azam's picture in Madina Munawara wins hearts

Lahore: Babar Azam, the skipper of Pakistan cricket team, performed Umrah again in this Ramadan  and   shared adorable pictures from the holy of cities Mecca Moazamma and Medina Munawara.

The way he paid homage to the Holy Prophet Peace Be Upon Him garnered huge likes and comments on his post. 

While sharing his picture, he quoted a persian verse written in the honor of Holy Prophet Mohammad Peace Be Upon Him, "Baad Az Khuda Bazurg Tu-e- Qissa Mukhtasar" [You are the top most noble personaity in the world after  God in a nutshell].  He was looking towards the green dome of the holy mosque where the Holy Prophet Peace Be Upon Him rests. 

He was earlier due to take part in a tournament in Lahore but canceled his plans to undertake the pilgrimage.

Before departing for Saudi Arabia,  Azam Siddiqui, the father of Babar Azam, shared a picture with his son on Wednesday.

Babar's teammate Haris Rauf also performed Umrah on Thursday and shared his picture on Twitter. Besides it, test cricketer Mohammad Abbas also performed Umrah during this Ramadan.
