Hissing gator invades Florida woman's home; ushered out via ‘Swiffer mop’

As per details, the women, Erika Venza discovered the 1-foot alligator wandering around her kitchen and called for backup. She documented the whole experience in a live-streamed video.

After discovering the reptile, Venza called her neighbor Sazan Powers to come over and help coerce the baby alligator out of the house.

Sazan said her friend had left the sliding glass door open at her home and her dog alerted her just before noon that there was an invader inside the house.

Despite being only about 2 feet long, the gator packed some serious punch.

The women used empty TV boxes to barricade the gator and prevent it from wandering further into the house.

“It took about 20 minutes to get the alligator to go back out of the house through the sliding door,” said women.

In the frightening encounter with the hissing gator, the women kept a safe distance away on top of the kitchen counter, table and chairs and used a Swiffer mop and a few squeals to guide the reptile outside without hurting it.

Watch these women hilariously try to get a baby gator out of the house.

It’s believed the little gator came in from the draining pond in the backyard.
