Army Chief visits Fauji Foundation in Rawalpindi, inaugurates 100-Bed hospital
Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday visited Fauji Foundation Headquarters in Rawalpindi and inaugurated the 100-bed hospital.
According to a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the CAOS also inaugurated Foundation University Institute School of Nursing.
Following the occasion, he was given a detailed briefing on ongoing and future projects of Fauji Foundation and appreciated the performance and commitment of foundation towards provision of quality services and assured of his full support in all its future endeavors.
The Fauji Foundation was established as a charitable trust in 1954 and is being operated on a completely self-sustaining basis.
It is spending over Rs. 23.8 billion since inception on welfare.
The Foundation provides services in the areas of healthcare, education, educational stipends, technical and vocational training.
