‘Imran Khan’s arrest correct but place of arrest was incorrect,’ says Bilawal Bhutto
The PPP chairman says they will beat Imran Khan through the elections and not through the NAB.
Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that they could easily defeat Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan as many MNAs were present there in the National Assembly who beat them in the by-elections.
“But we don’t want to become part of any conspiracy that first there will be elections in Punjab and then in other provinces of the country; no, not,” said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing the National Assembly. He said that the problem was that the people were in the real trouble as they were in financial trouble.
The PPP chairman said that they would beat Imran Khan through the elections and not through the NAB. “We know how to fight against the conspiracy,” he added.
Bilawal said, “This is the last chance for the PTI to decide whether they are political party or not then they have to clear themselves from the cases of terrorism,”. He alleged that PTI turned out to be a terrorist party. He vowed that they would protect the parliament and would face the conspirators.
“Those who want one man show in the institutions want one-man show in the country,” said Bilawal, adding that the democracy was the best revenge.
Talking about the violent protests, PPP bear huge loss in the past but never turned out to be violent. PTI, he said, wanted tiger force in every state institution. The PPP chairman regretted that his party was always targeted. He said that the arrest of Imran Khan was correct but the place of his arrest was incorrect. Bilawal stated that they saw for the first time that Corps Commander’s house was set on fire in Lahore, and GHQ was attacked in Rawalpindi.
