The sources say that the NADRA called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at his office and presented him resignation.


Islamabad: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Chairman Tariq Malik stepped sown from his office, the sources privy to the development said on Tuesday.
The sources said that the Tariq Malik called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and presented his resignation before him. They said that the prime minister would make decision about the resignations at the later stage.
PM Shehbaz appreciated Tariq Malik for his services for the country and hoped that he would continue to serve it the rest of his life.
Earlier, the reports had emerged that Tariq Malik was asked to submit his resignation from his office, pointing out that Tariq Malik could face legal battles due to different cases.
