Pakistani cricketer, Nahida Khan getting retired from international cricket after completing 14 years.


Karachi: After 14 years of a remarkable career, Pakistani cricketer Nahida Khan has officially announced her retirement from international cricket.
She gave her debut in the One Day International (ODI) match against Sri Lanka, Bogra in Bangladesh, on February 7, 2009.
Nahida made history as the sole female cricketer from Balochistan to represent Pakistan, showcasing her skills in 120 international matches.
During her illustrious career, she accumulated 2,014 runs and claimed one wicket.
As a right-handed batter, Nahida holds a unique record in ODI innings, securing four catches in Pakistan's triumphant 94-run victory over Sri Lanka in Dambulla in 2018.
Expressing her gratitude, Nahida Khan said, "I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support I received throughout my career. I extend my heartfelt thanks to my family, teammates, coaches, and the Pakistan Cricket Board for their guidance and belief in my abilities."
She added, "I also want to express my gratitude to the passionate fans that have supported me throughout my journey, both in Pakistan and across the globe."
