No QR code is required while logging in WhatsApp
WhatsApp eliminated the need for a QR code while logging on to the Web.
California: WhatsApp has unveiled a new feature for its desktop version, eliminating the need for QR codes when logging into WhatsApp Web.
According to WhatsApp, the new beta version for Android devices introduces the "Link with Phone Number" feature. This allows users to access WhatsApp Web without scanning a QR code.
Reports suggest that this feature is currently available to a limited number of beta users, including those in Pakistan, but it is expected to be rolled out for all users in the near future.
How does the feature work?
To use this feature, open WhatsApp Web on your browser. On the right side, you will find the QR code, and on the left side, there will be an option for "Link with Phone Number."
Clicking on this option will prompt you to enter your phone number. A code consisting of 8 digits will appear, which you need to enter in the "Linked Devices" option in the WhatsApp mobile app.
This new feature aims to provide a more convenient way for users to access WhatsApp Web without the need for QR codes, enhancing the user experience.
