Cop injured in Bannu attack on police station, post

Bannu: Armed assailants attacked Ahmedzai police station and Mazunga police post late at night in Bannu.

According to the police, a cop was injured in the first attack and the thermal camera installed at the police post was damaged in the second attack.

Police stated that Ahmedzai police station was attacked by unknown armed persons, but the attack was repelled by the timely response of the police.

Police added that efforts were made to arrest the accused, but they escaped in the darkness of the night.

According to the police, the second incident took place at the Bannu Mazanga police post where the shooting by unknown suspects late at night damaged the thermal camera installed at the post.
