State cannot handle every matter: CJP
We all have to contribute for the betterment of the country: CJP
Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Atta Bandial on Friday has said that the purpose of basic rights in the constitution is to keep the people happy, the happiness of the person attached with the happiness of the family.
CJP Umar Atta Bandial while addressing the national conference said that the state is responsible for the health of mother and child, a comprehensive strategy is needed to control the growing population.
Further, he said that Bangladesh and Iran have found a law on the growing population. It is not right to leave the responsibility of everything to state, we all have to contribute for the betterment of the society.
The Chief Justice said that nowadays we look at our individual benefits, the need of the hour is that we all have to find solutions to the problems together. The best results can be achieved by educating the new generation. We cannot leave the matter to the state, the state has many other tasks, the people like us have to find a solution to the problem together.
CJP Bandial said that a comprehensive strategy is needed to control the rampant increase in population, in this regard, various organizations including the United Nations are providing support to the government.
If we give skill-based education in result we will get good outcome. Today the people of Pakistan need to come forward and give advice to the state to solve the problems, he added.
Justice Umar Ata Bandial further said that in 1971, Pakistan gave loan to China, Germany. He Stated that community service is needed to reach a destination, we have to promote education and skilled base trainings.
Further he said that there are the simple steps to follow. We will give suggestions in the 2-day conference. Here the litigation comes to the Supreme Court. We need to create opportunities. Judges should be aware of new needs and ideas about society.
