Azam Khan, the former principal to the former prime minister and PTI chief, appeared at Kohsar police station and stated that the missing report was untrue.

Islamabad: The FIR filed against former principal secretary Azam Khan was dismissed after he made a public appearance on Wednesday.
According to the authorities, Azam Khan, the former principal of the former prime minister and PTI chairman, showed up at the Kohsar police station and claimed that the missing report was untrue.
In addition, Azam Khan told the police that he had deliberately disguised himself with a friend and made a voluntary statement that was recorded in accordance with Section 164 of the legislation.
Earlier today, Former Prime Minister's Principal Secretary Azam Khan recorded his confession statement before the Magistrate under Section 164 regarding cypher.
According to details, Azam Khan recorded a statement against Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and termed cypher as a deliberate conspiracy.
The principle secretary told that all the cabinet members were involved in the issue of cypher and all of them were told how the cypher can be used. It has nothing to do with reality, it is only used for political purposes.
Azam Khan further said in his confessional statement that PTI chief created a false and baseless narrative of Cypher by hiding all the facts. Cypher was shown as external conspiracy to avoid no-confidence motion.
His statement told that former prime minister said: “I will change the narrative of people by making a false perception of the cypher”.
Azam Khan stated that Chairman PTI took the cypher from me on March 09 and later lost it. Despite this, he floated the secret letter for personal gain.
Details further told that earlier on March 8, 2022, the Foreign Secretary told Azam Khan about the cypher. Shah Mehmood Qureshi had already told the former prime minister about cypher, however he wanted to use it to create a narrative against the opposition and the establishment.
Former Prime Minister decided to keep cypher with himself which was a violation of the law, on asking for the cypher back, Chairman PTI said it was lost.
