Finance Minister reviews work on outsourcing of airports' operations
The meeting unanimously decides and allows Ministry of Aviation to proceed further for tendering of the outsourcing of Islamabad Airport to improve service delivery in line with the best industry practices.
Islamabad: Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of Steering Committee in Islamabad on Thursday to review the progress of work related to outsourcing of airports' operations.
The meeting unanimously decided and allowed Ministry of Aviation to proceed further for tendering of the outsourcing of Islamabad Airport to improve service delivery in line with the best industry practices.
Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Commerce Minister Syed Naveed Qamar, Law & Justice Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, SAPM Finance Tariq Bajwa, Secretary Aviation, DG PCAA, CEO PPP Authority, IFC team and other government officials attended the meeting.
The meeting unanimiusly decided and allowed Aviation Ministry to proceed further for tendering of the outsourcing of the first airport (Islamabad Airport) in order to improve service delivery in line with best industry practices.
