BISE announces matric results

This year’s overall passing rate in the Lahore board is 74%.

Gujranwala: The Punjab Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education declared the results of the annual Matriculation examinations in 2023.

According to the Controller of Examinations, the overall pass rate stands at 74%.

A total of 230,915 candidates participated in the examinations organized by Lahore Board.

The Controller further stated that 172,204 candidates achieved successful outcomes while around 57 thousand candidates failed in the Matriculation examinations.

In the Lahore Board, private candidate Tobia Azam achieved the top position with an outstanding score of 1091 out of 1100 marks.

Following closely behind, private candidate Muhammad Abdullah secured the second position with an impressive 1090 marks.

Hadiya Noor claimed the third position with an excellent performance, obtaining 1089 marks.

Other educational boards in Punjab also announced matriculation results.

The passing ratio of students in Faisalabad was 81.76, DG Khan 86.37, Bahawalpur 82.70, and Gujranwala 80.82%, similarly in Multan 85%, Rawalpindi 77.20, Sahiwal 78.76 and Sargodha 82.82%.
