Jay Shah, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), had mentioned earlier that some boards had requested to reduce the gap between matches from six days to four days.
However, the venues for the matches will remain unchanged, only the dates will be modified.
As per the Indian media, there is a possibility of the England vs. Afghanistan Day-Night match scheduled for October 14 to be played on the day on October 15.
