Karachi: Valuable machinery worth millions of rupees stole from a government Civil Hospital in Karachi.
The security of Sindh's largest government hospital in Karachi was breached as thieves stole valuable machinery and caused havoc during the theft.
The incident took place when the hospital's OPD (Outpatient Department) was closed due to a two-day government holiday.
The culprits managed to break into the OPD by cutting through the cement walls.
Despite the presence of dozens of government and private guards at the hospital, they were unaware of the theft.
Upon discovering the missing equipment, the administration called for a complete security check, causing severe inconvenience to the incoming patients in the OPD.
During the theft, the culprits also caused extensive damage to the OPD area.
