Karan Johar dubs Ranveer Singh's character in 'RRKPK' as a 'male poo'
Ranveer's portrayal of Rocky resembles a male version of Poo – an endearing boy, blissfully oblivious to the complexities of the real world.

Mumbai: Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar is back in the director's seat after a gap of seven years with his latest film, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.'
In the much-anticipated movie, Karan Johar has aptly described Ranveer Singh's character, Rocky Randhawa, as a 'male Poo.'
Poo, an iconic character from the film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham,' was immortalized by Kareena Kapoor and became one of the most memorable roles of her career, inspiring countless impersonations globally.
Drawing a connection between the two characters, Karan Johar shared that Ranveer Singh's portrayal of Rocky needed to exude a lovable and innocent charm, akin to Poo's persona but with a contemporary touch.
According to the director, Rocky is like the male version of Poo, a lovable boy who is unaware of the complexities of the real world.
Furthermore, Karan Johar likened Ranveer's role to Barbie's Ken, stating that Rocky was the ideal "Ken" to Barbie, representing a character with a perfect blend of endearing vulnerability and rough edges.
The film, 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,' hit theaters on July 28, marking a triumphant return for Karan Johar as a director.
