One footballer dead, several injured in Gwadar road accident

Gwadar: Atleast One footballer killed and 10 injured as football team's vehicle meets with an accident close to Pasni Zeropoint Gwadar on Tuesday.

The van was transporting members of the Turbat football team, according to officials in the rescue squad.

Atleast one football player was killed in the accident, which occurred as the team was traveling to Pasni to compete in the David football cup, and 10 others were hurt.

Prior to their participation in the Norway Cup, Pakistan's street football squad defeated the United Nations Pakistan representatives' team by a score of 5-0.

The Pakistan Street Child Football team played a friendly match to improve their preparations for the Norway Cup, the largest international football tournament for players between the ages of 10 and 19. 

The team was in the final stages of training at the Islamabad Sports Complex.

Foreign ambassadors were quite complimentary of how well the national team played in the friendly encounter, beating the UN representative XI by a huge margin of 5-0.
