Karachi: In a significant development, the longstanding deadlock between the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) over the appointment of the Sindh Chief Minister in Pakistan finally came to an end.

The sources revealed that a mutual agreement had been reached between the PPP and MQM regarding the selection of a suitable candidate for the coveted position. The MQM Coordination Committee, a key decision-making body within the party, successfully arrived at a consensus on the name of Justice (R) Mqbool Baqar.

This breakthrough comes after intense negotiations and deliberations. The collaborative efforts displayed by both political entities underscore their commitment to working together for the betterment of the province and its residents.

As a testament to the significance of this resolution, opposition leader Raana Ansar has promptly made her way to the Chief Minister's House.

Anticipation is growing for an imminent joint press conference, where the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement are expected to formally announce their accord and shed light on the details of this pivotal decision.
