Met Dept predicts more rains from today till Aug 27
There is a risk of flooding in the local and rainy rivers of Dera and adjoining North-Eastern Balochistan from August 25 and 26.
Islamabad: The meteorological department has predicted rains across the country from today (Wednesday).
According to the meteorological department said that the rains will continue from today till August 27. The monsoon winds entered the upper regions of the country from the Arabian Sea on August 22.
From August 23 to 27, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Galiyat and Islamabad are likely to experience thunder and lightning. Clouds will rain intermittently in most parts of Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal Jhelum.
Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mansehra, Kohat, Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, Nowshera, rain with strong winds is expected.
During August 24 to 26, rain with thunder is expected in Kuram, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail (DI) Khan, Bannu, Mianwali, Sargodha, Khushab and Bhakar.

According to the Department of Meteorology, there are clouds in the sky in and around Muzaffarabad city that has decreased the intensity of heat.
On the other hand, since last night, the city of Lahore is surrounded by winds due to which the weather has improved a little.
The wind has eased the heat and humidity and the temperature is being recorded at 29 degrees. The Meteorological Department has announced that it will remain windy throughout the day.
