The caretaker human rights minister emphasizes the importance of providing prisoners with proper facilities in jails, citing her inability to communicate with her incarcerated husband.
Islamabad: Caretaker Human Rights Minister Mashal Malik on Saturday highlighted the presence of state-sanctioned extremism in India.
In her media interaction, Mashal emphasized the importance of providing prisoners with proper facilities in jails, citing her inability to communicate with her incarcerated husband.
She noted that Amnesty International had addressed the issue of human rights violations in India through a letter, underscoring that it had been over four and a half years since she had been able to communicate with Yasin Malik.
Mashal Malik further revealed that around forty thousand places of worship had been targeted in India. She stated that attacks against minorities in India were backed by the state, contributing to a dire human rights situation in the country.
