Imaan Mazari sent to Adiala jail on judicial remand
Imaan Mazari's lawyers requested notices on September 02 on the bail application from ATC.
Islamabad: Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Friday ordered to send social activist and former federal minister Shirin Mazari's daughter Imaan Mazari to jail on judicial remand.
According to details, the court has ordered Imaan Mazari to be sent to Adiala jail on 14-day judicial remand. She was produced in the court over completion of three-day physical remand.
Imaan Mazari's lawyers requested notices on September 02 on the bail application from ATC, to which the court called for arguments on September 02 yesterday.
She also met the family and lawyers in the courtroom.
It is pertinent to note that Islamabad Police arrested Imaan from outside Adiala Jail as soon as he was released.
On the other hand, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has prevented Iman Mazari from being arrested in other cases.
Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb said during the hearing that Mazari assured to control his mother's language but did not control his own language.
Apart from this, the IHC directed the Interior Secretary to submit the details of the cases registered against her in the provinces by September 04.
