Three travelers affected by monkeypox were quarantined after landing in Karachi's Jinnah International Airport.

Karachi: Three inbound travelers from Libya displayed symptoms of Monkey Pox disease upon their arrival at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi.
On Thursday, authorities at the airport identified suspected cases of monkeypox among the travelers, all of whom had arrived in Karachi from Libya.
Following the identification by health surveillance teams, the affected travelers were transported to a hospital and placed under quarantine.
The Sindh Health Department revealed that on August 31, 2023, a surveillance team detected symptoms of monkeypox in three travelers returning from Libya, aged between 30 and 45, all of whom were Pakistani nationals.
These individuals have been placed in quarantine at the Infectious Diseases Hospital of the Sindh Health Department.
It's worth noting that a patient returning from Saudi Arabia last year had also recovered from monkeypox after receiving medical treatment during the first week of May.
