Pakistani kid advances to final round of International Quran recitation competition
Hafiz Azam Tariq made his way to the final round in the International Quranic Reading competition occurring in Masjid-al-Haram.
In the global competition of Quranic recitation held at Masjid al-Haram, a 14-year-old Pakistani student, Hafiz Azam Tariq, advanced to the final round, captivating the hearts of the audience with his mesmerizing recitation.
With 166 participants from 117 countries competing until September 6 in Saudi Arabia, Hafiz Azam Tariq's remarkable recitation skills secured him a spot in the finals.
The Quranic reading competition offers substantial rewards, with the first-place winner receiving a prize of two hundred thousand Saudi Riyals, the second-place winner earning one hundred and ninety thousand Saudi Riyals, and the third-place contestant awarded one hundred and eighty thousand Saudi Riyals.
It's worth noting that Hafiz Azam Tariq had previously secured the top position in the national-level Quranic recitation competition in Pakistan, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication.
