Unforeseen heavy rainfall has sparked concerns regarding the timely commencement of the eagerly awaited Pakistan-India match.

Colombo: As the Indian cricket team arrived at the stadium for the reserve day of the Asia Cup Super Four stage match against Pakistan, rain showers immediately greeted them in Colombo.
Meanwhile, monsoon-like rainfall continues to pour in the city.
While the Indian cricket team managed to reach the stadium, the Pakistani team is yet to depart from their hotel due to the inclement weather.
This unexpected downpour has raised concerns about whether the much-anticipated Pakistan-India match will commence on time.
There are possibilities that today's match between Pakistan and India might face a delayed start, as it was initially scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM local time.
However, the persistent rain might lead to a revised start time, and fans are eagerly awaiting updates from the tournament authorities.
It's worth noting that yesterday, due to relentless rain and a waterlogged outfield, the crucial Pakistan-India match in the Super Four stage of the Asia Cup was abandoned, and the reserve day was earmarked for its resumption.
With the weather clearing up slightly, the match is set to begin from where it left off yesterday, with India at 147 runs for the loss of 2 wickets after 24.1 overs.
Pakistan's bowling duo, Shadab and Shaheen, claimed the wickets of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, scoring 56 and 58 runs, respectively.
