Mogadishu: Seven people were killed as a result of suicide bombing at a tea shop in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu.
According to foreign media, seven people were also injured in the explosion, most of whom were soldiers.
The foreign media stated, an eyewitness said that the explosion occurred on Friday afternoon on the road leading to the Parliament and the President's office, a shop frequented by soldiers.
According to foreign media, al-Shabaab, a group linked to al-Qaeda, has claimed responsibility for the blast.
Media reports told that earlier on Thursday a car bomb also exploded in Mogadishu killing five people and injuring 13.
