Dharamshala/Delhi: Two matches will be played today (Saturday) in the Cricket World Cup 2023. In the first match, Afghanistan will face Bangladesh, while South Africa and Sri Lanka will face each other in the second match.
The match being played between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, will take place at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala at 10:00am.
Afghanistan team has some edge over Bangladesh due to good spinners, however Bangladeshi batsman Mehdi Hasan Miraz is in good form. He scored half-centuries in both the World Cup warm-up matches.
Bangladesh's hopes of winning will increase if captain and veteran Shakib-ul-Hasan also leaves, and they also have Najam-ul-Hasan Shinto.
Afghan batsmen Rehmanullah Grubaz and Ibrahim Zadran will also play an important role in this match. Both the teams have faced each other twice in World Cup matches where Bangladesh was successful.

The match being played between South Africa and Sri Lanka in the hot weather of New Delhi will take place at Arun Jaitley Stadium at 01:30pm.
It is being said that the weather in Delhi can go in favor of the Sri Lankan team, but there is a question mark over the batting of the Sri Lankan team while their bowling is also looking weak in the absence of Mahesh Thakshana.
On the other hand, South Africa's batting is at its best and on the kind of pitches India has, their batsmen can score runs, but the absence of Norkia and Sisanda Magala will make a difference in the bowling.
In the history of World Cup, there have been six matches between Sri Lanka and South Africa, out of which South Africa won four, while one match was won by Sri Lanka, one match was a tie.
