Bushra Bibi expresses no-confidence in CJ IHC
Notably, former Prime Minister's wife Bushra Bibi had filed an appeal in the court to meet her husband in isolation.
Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi expressed her lack of confidence in Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamer Farooq.
According to details, Bushra Bibi requested that her petition to meet her husband in isolation should be appointed in another bench.
Bushra Bibi's lawyer said that same kind of decisions are coming in all our cases assigned to you. It is requested that all our cases in this bench be transferred to someone else.
On this, Chief Justice of IHC Aamer Farooq said that he was talking completely inappropriately and should not do that. Following the plea of Bushra Bibi, the court issued notices to the bar councils.
It has been said by the court that they are issuing notices to Islamabad High Court, Supreme Court and Pakistan Bar Councils.
Notably, former Prime Minister's wife Bushra Bibi had filed an appeal in the court to meet her husband in isolation.
Bushra had filed this petition in the IHC that following the court orders she has been allowed to meet PTI Chairman every Tuesday but in the presence of jail authorities, due to which they are unable to discuss domestic matters.
The former first lady requested in her petition that Superintendent Adiala Jail should be ordered to let her meet husband in isolation.
