Lahore: Despite the lockdown and restrictions, the smog in Lahore has not reduced on Monday and the air quality is still extremely harmful to health.

According to the details, Lahore is still on top among the most polluted cities where the number of particulate meters has been recorded at 376.

The educational institutions have reopened in six districts of Punjab including Lahore after three days of vacation.

On the other hand, air pollution has also increased in Karachi, which ranks fourth in the list of polluted cities today.

Punjab Environment Protection Department has released today's Air Quality Index (AQI).

According to Punjab Department of Environment, the AQI of Lahore College for Women University was 297, while the AQI of Punjab University, Lahore College of Earth and Environmental Sciences was recorded 250.

Punjab Environment Protection Department stated that AQI 299 in Town Hall and 194 has been recorded on Shale Valley Range Road Rawalpindi.
