Quetta: Two Persian leopards have been found in the Chiltan mountain range adjacent to the Hazarganji National Park, southwest of Quetta.

According to local media, the officials of Balochistan’s wildlife department had first spotted the pair six months ago.
Soon after, a search mission was launched for the pair of rare Persian.
After continuous efforts of several days, the teams again spotted the pair in a rugged mountainous area of Chiltan range and took their pictures, confirmed the Chief Conservator of Wildlife Department, Sharifuddin Baloch.
While releasing pictures of the leopard, Sharifuddin Baloch said that the existence of this leopard species was in danger as it was rapidly becoming extinct.
