Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that on February 8, the public would cast their votes with a glimpse into the past to chart the course for the future, urging them to vote for prosperity and progress.
Shahbaz Sharif emphasized the impending elections, stressing that on February 8, the people would make decisions through their votes.
He made these remarks while addressing a press conference in Lahore on Wednesday.

The former PM said that the Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) initiated its electoral campaign, recalling the significant strides made towards Pakistan's progress through Nawaz Sharif's daily hard work in 2017.
In his opinion, these elections would determine Pakistan's destiny.
Shahbaz Sharif asserted that everything that unfolded after 2018 is now apparent, suggesting that had Nawaz Sharif's government not been terminated, Pakistan would not have faced an economic crisis. He attributed the challenges to a conspiracy, leading to escalated crises and severe inflation in the country.
He emphasized the need to eliminate animosities, unite the nation, and stand Pakistan on its own feet. Shahbaz Sharif expressed confidence that if Allah provides an opportunity to Nawaz Sharif, the journey of progress and prosperity would resume. He highlighted the strenuous efforts made day and night within 16 months to rescue Pakistan from default.
