Kakar to chair meeting about Pak-Iran attacks

Islamabad: The caretaker Prime Minister Anwwar-ul-Haq Kakar abbreviate his visit to Switzerland and called an emergency meeting of the Cabinet Committee on National Security Council (NSC).

Earlier this meeting was to be held on 2:45 pm but now it will be held on 4:30 pm.

Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSC) Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff (CONS) Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Air Staff (COAS) Zaheer Ahmed Babar and other high-ranking officials will take part in the meeting.

The guidelines will be given on behalf of the institutions about national security by the Committee Kopak on Iran strain.

In the meantime, the caretaker federal cabinet will also have a meeting to discuss the current national security situation. It will be held on 5:30 pm.
