SC issues guidelines for court reporters
It is forbidden to record any kind of content, including YouTube programs, in the Supreme Court building.
Islamabad: The Supreme Court Monday issued guidelines for court reporters.
According to the spokesman of Supreme Court, a reporter from a media organization will be able to go to the courtroom during the hearing of important cases. It is forbidden to record any kind of content, including YouTube programs, in the Supreme Court building.
The spokesman said that only by showing the employee card of a media house, entry into the Supreme Court will be allowed, proper arrangements will be made to show the court proceedings to the reporters coming during major cases.
The spokesperson of the Supreme Court further said that these instructions have been issued with the permission of Registrar Supreme Court Jazeela Aslam.
