Caretaker PM Kakar to inaugurate Petroleum Conference today
The conference will be attended by international delegates, government representatives, policy makers and regulators.
Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar will inaugurate the Petroleum Conference today (Tuesday).
The caretaker government's mission to find petrol and gas is underway, for which a petroleum conference will be held in the country today.
Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar will inaugurate the conference in which Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir will also participate while four caretaker provincial chief ministers will also take part in the conference.
The conference will be attended by international delegates, government representatives, policy makers and regulators.
In order to increase investment within the country, a briefing on exploration opportunities will also be given in the conference. Two workshops have also been organized for petroleum exploration and production companies.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistan imports 85% of oil and 25% of gas in the form of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
