PTI accuses police of killing citizens in Shangla
PTI says four citizens have been killed due to the police firing and several others injured over what it says protests against alleged rigging.
Shangla: In a grievous turn of events, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has accused the local police of killing the innocent protestors as they protested against what they deem as the blatant robbery of their electoral mandate in Shangla.
Emir Maqam won the seat from NA-11, Shangla.
According to the PTI's claims, at least four Pakistanis have lost their lives due to police firing in Shangla. Moreover, numerous individuals have sustained injuries, while others have reportedly been unlawfully detained.
The protests have sparked in the area outrage following what PTI describes as the manipulation and massacre of election results orchestrated by what they term an illegitimate regime.
The alleged manipulation occurred during the late hours of the night, depriving PTI of what they assert was a landslide victory.
