Justice Ali Baqir Najafi declared that the notification of jail trial has been issued according to the law.


Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed the petition against the jail trial of the May 9 arson cases as inadmissible.
According to the details, a two-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqir Najafi of LHC heard the petition against the jail trial of the May 9 arson cases.
In the petition, the position was adopted that the notification of the jail trial was not issued in the light of the rules of the High Court while the jail trial cannot be clean and transparent.
Justice Ali Baqir Najafi declared that the notification of jail trial has been issued according to the law, if there is anything illegal in the jail trial, it should be proved.
The court dismissed the application as inadmissible.
