NEPRA receives pleas to burdened consumers
However, the hearing on these pleas will be on April 2.
Islamabad: A new burden has been prepared to put on electricity consumers. National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) received pleas to put an extra burden on consumers of Rs967 trillion.
According to the details, these pleas have been submitted by the power division companies for the next financial year.
Gujranwala electric power company has asked Rs376 trillion, Multan electric power company Rs160 trillion, Cesco Rs236, Taxco Rs92 trillion, Pesco Rs67 trillion and Sepco has asked Rs35 trillion and Rs70 million in these pleas.
However, the hearing on these pleas will be on April 2.
