PTI to go in PHC against verdict of ECP

Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced to challenge Election commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) verdict in court regarding postpone senate elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to the details, PTI’s leader Barrister Gohar was talking to media regarding the ECP’s verdict on senate elections in KP.

Barrister Gohar stated that PTI rejected the verdict of ECP and challenged this in Peshawar high court (PHC). Reserve seats are PTI’s rights. Legally PTI cannot be deprived from reserve seats.

He said that a plea already filed in Supreme court (SC) for reserve seats. A plea will also be filed in SC against postponed senate elections in KP.

PTI’s leader added that a discussion will be done regarding these matters by summoning the party leader’s session today (Tuesday).

On the other hand, chief minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur announced to protest against postponed senate elections in KP.
