Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Thursday said that solving people's problems is a priority, and will definitely provide possible resources.
Assembly members from different districts met Chief Minister Punjab during which the general political situation and development issues were discussed. The assembly members informed Maryam Nawaz about the problems and public needs of the respective constituencies.
She said that they are developing a sustainable system of sanitation in the streets, cities and villages, bringing solid waste management system under public-private partnership in divisional headquarters and big cities.
Maryam stated that she wants to see every street in the neighborhood clean, on which work will be started soon. Solving the problems of the people is a priority and will definitely provide possible resources for this.
“The latest project of water supply and drainage in Sahiwal is on the way towards completion, while Multan-Vehari expressway will be built for Multan, Jahanian, Vehari and other cities. Cath lab and other cardiology facilities will be provided in Sialkot hospital,” added Chief Minister.
Among those who met the Maryam included Jahanian Member of Natioal Assembly (MNA) Chaudhry Iftikhar Nazir, Sahiwal Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Qasim Nadeem, Lahore MPA Muhammad Shoaib Siddiqui and Sialkot MPA Khurram Khan Virk.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Senator Pervez Rasheed, Special Assistant Zeeshan Malik were also present on the occasion.
